Pınar’s love for cinema started long before she ever worked on a set, growing up in Istanbul as an frequent moviegoer. After moving to Berlin to work as a Product Designer, she found herself looking for creative ways to take her away from screen-based design.
Her move into set design happened unexpectedly. She was hired as an extra for a short film, but ended up supporting the art department instead. The experience completely hooked her. Since then, she’s worked on various projects, including supporting the art department on a feature film in LA.
Her approach to design comes down to mood, texture, and small, lived-in details—the kind of subtle touches that make a space feel real and tell a story on screen.
